Accordion Disk Flower Tutorial

November 8, 2012 in Cricut Cartridges by Cindy Herman

The two strips need to make this flower were cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge.  This is the scalloped edge flower of this type.  Fold each of the scalloped strips accordion where the little slits are in the paper.  They should be where the scallops start.

After both pieces are folded, attach one end to the end of the other strip.  Now attach the other two ends together making a circle.

With the straight end folded tight together, push it down to make it flat.  The scalloped end will flair out.  Put one of the circles in the middle.

Carefully so it won’t come undone, turn it over.  Use Z679 Liquid Glass in the center now.  Make sure it is still pushed together tight.

Now you can put the other circle in the center.  If you hold it together for a minute or two to give the Liquid Glass time to start drying, it will stay.

Use a glue dot to add the paper flower to the center of the printed side and another glue dot to add the sparkle to the center of that.  That sparkle is from the Z1741 Haunted Assortment.
