Where did “Memories Pieced Together” come from? It expresses my thoughts of a few of my favorite activities. My mother loved to capture those special times with family, friends and events with photos. I express that same love in my love of scrapbooking. She also instilled her love of quilting. Many years ago I found the love of genealogy. Each of these in some way involve memories of family, friends and events.
I enjoy taking pictures of my husband, children, grandchildren and siblings. We have two Great Danes as well as a three “grand-dogs”. I love to scrapbook the photos I take and those shared. Sharing what I learn and create in scrapbooking, quilting and genealogy gives me great joy.
In 1996 I became a Close To My Heart consultant. Close To My Heart’s mission is “…show you how to celebrate relationships through discovering your creativity, to preserve and share the moments that matter most.” I have been able to share scrapbooking and papercrafting with many people that I would not have been able to otherwise. Many of them have become close friends.
