This flower bouquet was made for a special friend.  Two of my favorite things, the awesome Dotty For You paper packet and the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge were used!

Using both sides of the different papers, I cut the rose flowers (pg 68) at 5” and 6”.  The edges were curled before rolling them.  The mums (pg 68) were also cut at 5” and 6”.  The pointed flowers (pg 39 flower 7) were layered with different sizes from 1 1/2” to 3”.  They were mountain folded point to point and valley folded at the inner points.  Poke a hole with the piercing tool in the base of the flowers.  Insert about a 12” floral wire with the end bent through the hole.  Roll the roses and mums using liquid glass to secure them and the wire to the base.  Use glue dots to secure the layers for the pointed flowers, rotating the flowers for dimension.  Allow the flowers to dry completely.

Leaving about 6” of wire, twist it down onto a 1/8” dowel rod or you can use a bamboo skewer.  With floral tape, starting at the base of the flower, twist down covering the wire and dowel rod.  The dowel rods were about 6 to 7” long.  Leaving the wire at the top allows the flowers to be bent.

The flowers were arranged in a small glass vase.  The stones used in vases were too big so I used crushed walnuts that I had to hold them in place which also covered the bottoms.
