Scholastic meets Artiste

Hi everyone!  It’s been a while since I posted.  Here is a layout I did using the Scholastic paper pack in the Autumn/Winter catalog.  Most have used this paper for school layouts and cards, but when I saw it I immediately thought of heritage albums.  The Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge was used for the title and the new Artiste cartridge was used for the scalloped piece next to the photo.  Since this is an original photo, I did not want to put adhesive on the photo.  I used Cocoa cardstock to create the corners so the photo could slip in without adhesive on the photo.  Anytime you have a photo that cannot be replaced, it is best to not put adhesive on it so it is preserved.

I also made a few cards with this same paper pack.  This one uses the Colonial White Die-Cut cards.  To keep the flap closed I used the new Hook & Loop Dots.  These work great on the purses that can be cut from the Artiste Cricut cartridge!

The new Artiste cartridge has several cards as well.  This is one of the cards with the Hello insert that was also cut from the cartridge.

There are several flowers as well.  This White Daisy Die-Cut card features one of them.
